A former professional and semi-professional player turned coach, David brings five years of hands-on experience with the NBA Basketball School programme — developing players from their very first dribble at U8 all the way to U19, across some of the top basketball programmes in the Middle East.

He’s coached at the Basketball Without Borders International Camp. Led coaching at the Jr. NBA Coaching Clinic during the 2024 Jr. NBA Abu Dhabi Finals. Worked alongside the NBA’s Europe and Middle East Basketball Operations team. Directed ADQ Summer Camps. Contributed to NBA Clinics and NBA Basketball School Global Games.

Throughout his basketball career, he has had the opportunity to contribute to a variety of NBA and international basketball programmes, including: NBA Global Games, NBA Academy, NBA Basketball School Qatar, Lebanon, Qatar, Basketball Without Borders, Jr. NBA Coaching Clinics, ADQ Basketball Programmes/ Camps, NBA 3×3, International Camps, Clinics & Tournaments.

His experience has also provided opportunities to work across the NBA Global Middle East events and programmes connected with NBA organisations including the Philadelphia 76ers, New York Knicks, Boston Celtics, Denver Nuggets, Dallas Mavericks, Minnesota Timberwolves, Atlanta Hawks and Milwaukee Bucks.

As Acting Technical Director, he brings that full-circle experience to every athlete who walks through our doors. His mission is simple: help young players fall in love with the game, build real skills, and grow into who they’re meant to be — on the court and off it.
