With over 20 years of experience across the NBA G-League, international teams, and U.S. college basketball, Hernando brings extensive knowledge, leadership, and passion.

His coaching journey includes roles with the Boston Celtics’ G-League affiliate, Duke University, and international stints in Japan, the Philippines, and New Zealand. He’s guided future WNBA players, led championship-winning college teams, and developed a strong reputation for building connected, empowered teams.

As Camp Technical Director, Hernando will focus on developing young talent through a coaching philosophy built on courage, communication, and community—aiming to inspire the next generation both on and off the court.
