David Olorogun is a UK-based former professional and semi-professional basketball player with five years of coaching experience in the NBA Basketball School programme. He has developed players from U8 to U19 while delivering high-quality basketball programmes across the Middle East. His achievements include coaching at the Basketball Without Borders International Camp and serving as Lead Coach for the Jr. NBA Coaching Clinic during the 2024 Jr. NBA Abu Dhabi Finals. David has also worked alongside the NBA Europe and Middle East Basketball Operations team, served as Camp Director for ADQ Summer Camps, and contributed to NBA Clinics and NBA Basketball School Global Games. Combining his playing, coaching, and basketball operations experience, David is passionate about developing young athletes and growing the game of basketball.

Technical Director
My name is Sven Wehrmeyer, and I am proud to serve as the Technical Director of the new NBA Basketball School Qatar.
As a former professional player from Germany — the nation of the reigning Basketball World and European Champions — I bring a lifetime of passion for the game to this program. Over my career, I’ve coached more than 1,000 players across 23 countries, from grassroots athletes to future stars — including one who went on to become a World Champion in 2023.
At NBA Basketball School Qatar, my mission is simple: to help our young players grow as athletes and as individuals. Through basketball, we teach discipline, teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship — the same values that shape champions both on and off the court.
